Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron
Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for more than 20 years. Her birth date was 22 March 1989, at Newport Beach California. The photo she posted of herself in a track event for 17 year olds went viral in 2007 and made her the pole vaulter of her dreams. Instagram and Twitter has helped her grow a large social followers. She is a well-known track and field athlete, similar as Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times reported, among others, that Stokke did not seek out this public attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society connected Stokke to the cases of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo women athletes claimed to have been sexually assaulted and had their public images presented in a manner that they were unable to emphasize their sports accomplishments. Concerning Stokke, they noted that many social media posts contained insults. They also blamed the sexualisation of women. Many drew a comparison with Brandi's victory celebration at the FIFA World Cup Final 1999 wearing a sports t-shirt. Sports events for women were frequently snubbed by discussions regarding their appearance. A reporter from an Californian site that covers track and field took pictures of Stokke in New York at the beginning of 2007. The images were posted on the internet. With Leather sports blog, which has an enormous male audience posted the photo in May. It was called Pole Vaulting is Almost Legal and commented on Stokke's sexiness. Matt Ufford, the owner of the site which the photo was published on was threatened with a lawsuit by the photographer if the picture was not removed. But the post received lots of interest from various websites as did the picture was widely shared. A memorial website for Stokke quickly appeared with images of her competing in the vault following the spread of these photos via social media internet fan pages, it gained thousands of followers. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She desired to complete her graduation from high school in Florida. It was her first step to her new job after she graduated from high school. Alyce has a sister who is a renowned teacher. Her family provides financial support for her. Alyce has a family home in Texas as her father works for The U.S. Army. They celebrated their father's birthday the year before. Alyce took to social media to share the most beautiful photo of her daughter, and to pay tribute to the sacrifice her father's contribution to his country through the U.S. Army. Her daughter, who is more enthused about education than her father and has won the university's merit scholarships in 2020, also shows more enthusiasm for schools.
