LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is a professional American basketball star. He is known as King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James has the world record of the most amount of points scored during the post-season, second best total career point total and seventh most career assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He participated in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. It was eight in a row between 2011-2018. James has been chosen for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have attained 10,000 points or more, rebounds, and assists in his career in 2022. James played basketball during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed James as an NBA superstar. He was a prep-to pro and selected with the top pick from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. He was named one of the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Soon he became one of the premier athletes of the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award in the years 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to be crowned the champion at Cleveland in 2010 left as a free agent and joined the Miami Heat. This was made clear as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions taken by a free agent in sports the history of sports.
