Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family to have been a resident of Atlanta. The story started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was farmer. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. While a student at Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and elsewhere in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he received his induction into the airforce in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter along with his wife were discharged from the Air Force in the year 1957, when they enrolled Walter in Tulane University. In 1960 the family moved to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project they self-financed. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it lasted 6 years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) in this time.
